Every week the newsletter gets fed to Google's Gemini Notebook, which generates a two-host conversation about it. Nobody in the episode is a person. The voices are synthetic, the banter is synthetic, and the opinions are a machine's reading of what I wrote rather than anything I said out loud.
It is a good way to hear the week's stories if you would rather listen than read. It is not a good way to quote me. When the hosts get something wrong, and they sometimes do, the newsletter is the record and the podcast is not.
